7 Milwaukee places to shop at for Mothers' Day!

Can you believe we're talking about Mothers' Day already?! In such a weird time, it's hard to think that we already had St. Paddy's Day and Easter when we couldn't do much celebration wise with green beer and treats.

However - Mama never stops for you, so we won't stop for Mama!

With Mothers' Day right around the corner, I wanted to give you a few local places here in Milwaukee to check out for gifts and to support.

  1. Hopefully my Mama doesn't read this, because I HAVE to tell you about the place I bought her stuff from!

The Waxwing is located at 1800 E North Ave, and they're now doing curbside pick up (in addition to delivery/shipping). I won't tell you exactly what I got mine (I'm doing a little MKE Basket to send to her in Buffalo), but for your mom, they have great candles that are Milwaukee neighborhood based that I thought were pretty cute! They also have a great array of greenery to choose from. There's a super cute Milwaukee Mama sweatshirt featured under clothing, AND my friends at GILTEE have their gear there too! Oh and if mama is really bored, get her a puzzle to work on!

2.After all this is over, let's be honest ... mama deserves to be pampered. I highly recommend Anton's Salon & Mspa in Delafield. I get my Botox done by Jamie there who is amazing, and they also have a beautiful hair salon (I get my Keratin Complex products from them), nail salon, and they so all sorts of peels and facials! You can get mom a giftcard by calling them on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday between 8am and 12pm (262.646.9888).

Here's Jamie in action! I can't wait to go back when this is all over .... my forehead hasn't moved in over a year and now it is and I don't know what to think (KIDDING - kinda)!

3.Is mom into working out? Maybe have her try something new, and that's SPENGA (located in Brookfield)! I love going there because to be honest with you ... I have work out ADD. I get bored very easily, and the 20 minutes of spin, 20 minutes of strength, and 20 minutes of yoga total workouts keep me entertained! Right now they have 20% off gift cards, and they don't have an expiration date ... so mom can give them a go once they reopen!

Here's a little tour of the place!

4.What have we been doing a ton during quarantining? Well - if you're of age, I'm sure you've been doing a lot of drinking. Get mama her favorite bottle of wine from Otto's Wine & Spirits! My girl Hannah from 95.7 BIG FM has featured a ton of great products from their stores.

5.Does your mama love flowers? Someone recently got me a nice little arrangement, and it was from Sendik's! They lasted awhile too, and they came in an adorable little vase. They're delivering too, but you have to get your order in by May 5th. Sendik's also has really cute little gifts in their stores too ... our boss Colleen knows me too well, and recently got me some cute "cat lady" things from there!

6.Is your mama a fashionista, and loves unique clothing she won't find anywhere else? I highly recommend Sparrow Collective in Bay View! My BFF Kelsey & I are completely obsessed with their stuff. They also have baby and home items in their store as well. They have a ton of cute clothes at their brand new boutique too! You can use the code LOCAL for free delivery.

7.And last but not least - LET'S TALK TREATS!!! On Easter, I ordered a half dozen of vegan donuts (they also have gluten free too!) from Cranky Al's, and they were AMAZING! Get a dozen for your mom though - SHE DESERVES A FULL DOZEN FOR DEALING WITH YOU! I'm not wrong.

Also - make sure you order by noon the day before you want to pick up on their website.
