Happy Hour with Hannah - Roederer Estate Brut

I can't believe we're already saying goodbye to 2019. It was a great year but I'm looking forward to what 2020 brings as well and the perfect beverage to ring in the New Year is the Roederer Estate Brut which is what we're featuring today on Happy Hour with Hannah and Otto's Wine & Spirits. The Roederer Estate Brut comes from Anderson Valley, California and builds upon a 200-year tradition of fine wine making that has made Roederer sparkling wine among the most sought-after in the world. After reading that I'm sure you're not at all surprised that it made the Wind Spectator Top 100 list in 2017 and 2018. There are more than 20,000 wines tasted for that so the fact that Roederer Estate Brut made the list two years in a row is really impressive!

Roederer's wine making style is based on two elements: ownership of its own vineyards and the addition of oak-aged reserve wines to each year's blend or cuvee. All the grapes for the Anderson Valley wines are grown right on the estate. The Roederer Estate Brut debuted in October 1988 and has since established its reputation as one of California's premier sparklers, remaining true to the heritage of excellence and style of its French forbears. It is crisp and elegant with complex pear, spice and hazelnut flavors. It is fresh and lightly fruity with great finesse and depth of flavor.

Suggested retail is $28. Otto's Wine & Spirits pretty much always offers it for a better price around $22 but right now it's on-sale for just $19.69 a bottle. This Roederer Estate Brut is perfect for an elegant start to a dinner party or to ring in the new year so pick it up today from Otto's Wine & Spirits. They have seven different locations so just find the one nearest you!

We'll be going LIVE on the 95.7 BIG FM Facebook page today (12/19) at 4pm for Happy Hour with Hannah and Otto's Wine & Spirits. It'll be a big party to close out 2019 and we'd love for you to join!
