It came down to a bar that's never been in our Fish Fry Frenzy before and another bar that's been in the final round before. Burnsie's Bar and Grill in West Allis took on Woody's Bar and Grill in Hartland for the ChampionFISH Round. After 24 hours, Burnsie's was declared our winner!
Scott and Shannen visited Burnsie's to see why it was fan-voted as the best fish fry in Milwaukee, and let me tell you - it did NOT disappoint!
Burnsie's Bar and Grill is newly renovated and even has a spot in the basement for you to rent for your next party. They've got tons of specials and events going on throughout the week, including music bingo, karaoke, pull tab roulette, and of course, their famous fish fry.
They have an incredible amount of options when it comes to your fish: walleye, perch and cod. They even have potato pancakes as a side option! You can see Scott and Shannen's rave reviews in the video - excuse us because we're still salivating about the meal they gave us. Not to mention - the prices are very reasonable!
Dave Burns, the owner, tipped his hat to the incredible staff, his loyal regulars and his lovely wife. We think her famous artichoke dip may have had something to do with the win, too. The bar recently celebrated another honor, but this time: for their Bloody Mary!
Long story short, Burnsie's Bar and Grill has a lot to offer. Their fish fry is delicious, but the staff also mentioned some of their favorites included the crispy chicken sandwich, the Mushroom Swiss Burger and the Godfather sandwich (Dave actually mentioned this in his interview with Scott and Shannen last week, and it sounds incredible: Homemade Italian Sausage Patty, Garlic Bread, Mozzarella, Cup of Homemade Marinara)
