Oh, the land of Pinterest is a dangerous one, but at times, it can be such a powerful tool! For example, when you find the perfect craft project that combines color, texture AND is used as home decor - why wouldn't you be excited? That's kind of like my project this week for Ben Franklin Crafts.
I've been wanting to create a wall hanging for my bathroom for the longest time because I have one blank white wall that doesn't have much space to decorate. Cue this fantastic yarn that Ben Franklin Crafts carries, I knew it was meant to be.
I used nothing but Malabrigo Yarn which is fascinating to learn about: 100% wool from Uraguay, hand-dyed by a family-owned company with more than 300 different colors! The three types I used were worsted (redish color), mecha (brownish color) and caracol (multi-colored as seen in the thicker braids). You can learn more about Malabrigo Yarn here.
