Brittany Aldean isn’t here for your shame.
During a Bahamas getaway with country star husband Jason Aldean, the new mom took to Instagram to criticize commenters who shamed the couple for vacationing without 2-month-old son Memphis.
Brittany clapped back at the parent shamers, captioning that leaving negative comments is “NOT OK.”
Just a word of wisdom for all the parent shamers… vacations are ok for new parents to take,” she captioned a photo of the pair on the beach. “Sometimes after being pregnant for almost a year, cooped up in a house for weeks at a time, you need a little sunshine and adult time.”
The negativity rolled in after Brittany posted a picture on herself a private plane looking at an image of little Memphis and captioning “Haven’t even left Nashville and I miss him so much it hurts.”
Brittany isn’t the first country parent to call out mommy shamers.
Jana Kramer did it when Internet trolls criticized her for her choice of baby food.
