These Foods Could Help with Allergies

Allergies are hitting heavy these days - especially as nicer weather approaches us. Most people rely on over-the-counter medicine, but you may also want to check out what you're eating because there are some foods that can help decrease inflammatory reactions...which also means you would face less severe symptoms!

Try adding these into your diet:

Onions - they contain a great antioxidant which could block the production of histamines which create inflammatory reactions

Tumeric - also inhibits the release of histamines, limiting your symptoms and allergic response

Salmon - fatty fish are rich in omega-3 fatty acids which help with inflammation - Nuts and seeds are also a great choice if you're not a fan of fish

Pineapple - The fruit is rich in an enzyme that gives pineapple more anti-inflammatory properties so you can reduce nasal swelling

Fruits and vegetables - anything that contains a high amount of vitamin C is great for immune system health
