Experts are putting eyes on cows' butts to save them

This is my favorite story of the day.

Experts in Southern Africa are painting eyes on their cows' butts to protect them from predators, like lions, leopards, and hyenas. Over a four year study, they found that none of the cows with painted eyes on their butts were attacked because those heinous "Lion King" creatures were scared off. What a low cost way to protect their herds!!!

And the pictures are amazing.
