Emma Stone is my absolute spirit animal. I've been told on several occasions that I remind people of her, and it's literally the best compliment I could ever receive.... like EVER.
Last year, Emma was the highest paid actress of the year with $26 million ... but this year, she didn't make the top 10. If you remember, last year was huge for her with "La La Land".
This year though, Scarlett Johansson took the top spot with $40.5M... largely in part because of her role as Black Widow in the "Avengers" movies. I would like to point out though ... the highest paid actor of 2018 was Dwayne Johnson with $124M. That's quite the difference. However, I will say it feels like he's been in at least 18 movies in the past year... but still, big chunk of change there.
