Well I have to say.... this Memorial Day Weekend went by very fast, but it was packed full of fun stuff!
Friday night, we went over to Babe's in Bay View for ice cream, and the hubs got a scoop of Cookies & Cream and Cookie Dough in a waffle cone.... and HOLY SWEETNESS, BATMAN.... it was good!!! I got the Blue Raspberry Italian Ice, but his flavor choices were top notch.
We were walking back to our place after, and had to pop into this adorable pet store called Mac's Pet Depot Barkery to see if they had any delicious treats we could take home to Sharknado & Olivia Wilde (our Siamese kitties). We were greeted by this handsome guy who sang us the song of his people, and he gave us a tour of the joint.... what a polite furry host!
On Saturday, we did our own little mini crawl in the Third Ward, and we had cocktails/beers on the rooftop of Cafe Benelux. Our favorite drink was the Triple-Goddess Raspberry Kombutcha.... HIGHLY recommend!
The next stop on our little Sunday Funday on a Saturday was Blue Bat Kitchen and Tequilaria. This might be my new favorite outdoor space. The view of the water was really nice and relaxing, and the cocktails were great as well. I'm mildly obsessed with their Street Corn... I want to bathe in whatever it's in.
I couldn't decide between these 2 for my 5th and final photo of the week. Before our little hop around in the Third Ward, we stopped by the Food Truck Festival in Waukesha. Dan, who follows me on Instagram, highly recommended Lumpia City's food truck, and he was so right! It was delicious!!! I mean, one was packed with Mac & Cheese so I was immediately sold.
And for photo 5.5, I give you one that pulled at my heartstrings a little. We were walking around, and I looked up to see E. Buffalo Street with a 414 flag flying on the next street over. I'm originally from Buffalo, NY, so it was a cool sight to see!
Thank you for checking out my weekend pics! I'm excited to share more of my Milwaukee adventures with you in the future!!!
