Have you seen the live action version of "The Jungle Book"? It's flipping AMAZINGGGGG! I remember watching it with some friends in Nashville, and being mildly obsessed with it.
The stars who voiced some of the animals in the movie were unbelievable too... including Bill Murray, Idris Elba, ScarJo, and Christopher Walken.
Now you're probably thinking... that movie came out semi recently, right? YOU'RE CORRECT, MY FRIEND. It came out in 2016, and now there's a trailer out for "Mowgli", which comes out this fall.
Usually I'm down for anything Disney, ESPECIALLY when it involves animals, but I just don't get this. It's a lot of the same characters, but different stars are doing the voices (which include Cate Blanchett, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Christian Bale). It ultimately looks like the same as the most recent reboot of "The Jungle Book", but just darker.
Is Hollywood getting lazy? Or am I just being too critical? Will you go see this new "Mowgli" movie? Am I asking too many questions?
