As you get back into shopping at Kohl's you may be browsing and notice your favorite brand is nowhere to be found. Today.com posted that the store plans to remove eight brands from their stores including some of the well known ones like Jennifer Lopez, Juicy Couture, Elle and more. If you're asking yourself why, CEO Michelle Gass mentioned on their Q1 earnings call that "Kohl's is committed to creating assortments that are right for our customers so we will exit eight down trending women's private brands." The change most likely comes after a tough quarter for the store as net sales fell 43.5% according to the article. They are hoping the removal of these brands will make room for "a more compelling and current offering to our customers". The eight brands being removed from Kohl's are Dana Buchman, Jennifer Lopez, Mudd, Candies, Rock & Republic, Popsugar, Elle and Juicy Couture. Are you bummed to see any of these go?
