As the holidays approach it's even more important to remember that there are those less fortunate than us that could really use a helping hand. I'm extremely blessed so when an opportunity arises that allows me to give back I'm all about it. Especially when it's one of my team members doing amazing work in his own community. Godfrey Campbell is a member of our promotions team here at iHeartMedia Milwaukee and we are both originally from Racine so when he told me he was running a food drive at his parents' church there I just knew I wanted to be able to share his story and help get the word out so here's your Make It Through Monday moment powered by Winkie's Hallmark & Gifts. It's put on by Living Loaded (Godfrey's design company) and his parent's church Faith Builders of Deliverance and it's the 3rd Annual Thanks Giveaway. They're collecting monetary donations as well as non-perishable food items that will be put into baskets and given away to those less fortunate this Thanksgiving.

If you're unable to make it to Racine then feel free to drop off your non-perishable food items at our station here and Godfrey would be happy to deliver it there on your behalf. We're located at 12100 W Howard Avenue, Greenfield, WI 53228. They would prefer to receive all donations by Friday, November 15.
