As we say goodbye to summer and hello to fall I thought this was a great picture to post for my Make It Through Monday moment powered by Winkie's Hallmark & Gifts. As I was scrolling through Facebook one day and stumbled upon this post, I just knew I had to share. That squirrel is literally me. I enjoy summer so much, thriving on the sunshine and warmth, that I try to hold onto it as long as I can soaking it all in. Don't get me wrong. I love fall too. The colors are so beautiful and I like that my schedule starts to slow down a little but the problem with fall is knowing that winter is right around the corner and that's what I struggle with. As I'm freezing this winter I'll pull up this picture and remember the warmer, sunnier times of summer and next time I'll follow in this guy's footsteps and "stop and smell the roses just a bit longer."
