Make It Through Monday - Pay Off Parking Ticket With School Supplies

I'm not a teacher nor am I a parent yet but even I know that getting school supplies for students and classrooms is so difficult which is why I love what is happening in Las Vegas! A news release was posted by the City of Las Vegas that stated people with parking infractions between June 19 and July 19 would be able to pay off their tickets by bringing in school supplies which would then be donated to the Teacher's Exchange, a non-profit associated with the Public Education Foundation. There's a recommended list of items to donate and you'd need to deliver them to the city's Parking Services Office within 30 days of receiving a citation. I think that is very doable and could be so helpful to teachers and students. I'm sharing this today as my Make It Through Monday moment, powered by Winkie's Hallmark & Gifts as I think it would be a super cool thing to bring to Milwaukee.
