Sometimes life is all about perspective. Do you ever go into a situation, maybe knowing it's not going to be great, but because you know that it seems to be less bad? That's how I felt when I stumbled upon my Make It Through Monday Moment, powered by Winkie's in Whitefish Bay.
I literally laughed out loud when I saw this while scrolling through social media. I've never had a kidney stone but I have heard how horrible they can be. After laughing though I got to thinking about how keeping our expectations in check can really help. If we remain positive from beginning to end, that will ultimately help make a bad situation not as bad. We know things are going to be tough but always keeping in mind that it will eventually get better is the key. Another situation that is easier said than done but I challenge you to remember that it might be super tough at that moment but hang onto the fact that it will end up getting better. It may pass like a kidney stone (hehe) but it will pass!
