Happy Hour with Hannah - Magners Irish Cider & Guinness

I can't wait to be Irish for the day on Happy Hour with Hannah and Otto's Wine & Spirits!  Both the Magners Irish Cider and Guinness 200th Anniversary Export Stout will be perfect for any St. Patrick's Day celebration!  You can even combine them to make A Black Velvet (pour Guinness over Magners)!

Magners Irish Cider started in 1935 in the County Tipperary and is the oldest Cidery in Ireland.  It's actually called Blummers in Ireland and is sold internationally under the Magners Brand Name.  A cider is a great option for St. Patrick's Day if you don't want to drink (green) beer and Magners is all natural and gluten-free.  Perfect for someone who is more health conscience!  It's made with 17 different varieties of apples (it's practically healthy!) and is fermented and matured for 18 months.  It is traditionally served over ice or combined with Guinness to make that black velvet!

Guinness 200th Anniversary Export Stout was first brewed in 1817 for export to America.  Even if you haven't tasted Guinness before I'm sure you've heard about its distinct flavor.  This actually comes from a roasted grain called black patent malt, which they used for the first time ever and still use at the brewery to this day!  This Guinness has a slight toffee and caramel aroma with a smooth taste and sweet chocolate flavor.

Both the Magners Irish Cider and Guinness 200th Anniversary Export Stout can be found at all Otto's Wine & Spirits locations and both are on-sale!  Get a 6-pack of Magners for $8.99 and a 6-pack of Guinness 200th Anniversary Export Stout for just $7.98.  Have a fun and safe St. Patrick's Day and don't forget to stop at Otto's Wine & Spirits!

We'll of course be jumping on 95.7 BIG FM's Facebook page to go live and sample both these beverages so don't forget to join us!  We'll be LIVE on Thursday, March 15th at 4:00pm!
