Watch RaeLynn Sing With Her Daughter, 4, During Adorable Onstage Moment

RaeLynn shared an adorable moment with her daughter when she took the stage at the Country Music Association’s CMA Fest over the weekend in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Texas-born country star, who launched her career on The Voice, performed on the CMA Close Up stage and shared a sweet story about her daughter. RaeLynn, whose real name is Racheal Lynn Woodward, welcome daughter Daisy Rae with husband Josh Davis in September 2021.

“I found out I was pregnant. I don’t know why in my mind I thought that I was having a boy,” RaeLynn shared with the audience in a clip she posted on Instagram on Monday (June 8). “I sang ‘God Made Girls’ every night since I was 19 years old on tour, and God was like, ‘you know what I’m going to bless you with? A wild little girl that is just like you.’ And she truly is the light of my life, and Daisy, I love you back there.”

While RaeLynn played the 2018 ballad, Daisy Rae emerged from backstage. RaeLynn joked, “she’s really shy,” as she held Daisy Rae on her lap and her daughter reached for the microphone. The mother-daughter duo sweetly finished the song together. RaeLynn wrote in her caption as she shared the video, “Im not crying you are đŸ˜­đŸ©·đŸ„č [Country Music Association] thank for an amazing week!”

Artists on the main stage this year included Lainey Wilson, Bailey Zimmerman, Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Deana Carter, Ella Langley, Gretchen Wilson, HARDY, Jason Aldean, Jordan Davis, Luke Bryan, The Red Clay Strays, Riley Green, Russell Dickerson, Shaboozey, Tim McGraw, Tucker Wetmore and Zach Top, and more. Riley Green and Lara Spencer will host the televised special, which will air on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on Thursday, June 25. The show will be available to stream the following day on Hulu.
