What an incredible two days in Nashville! We had the chance to fly out and attend the CMA Awards 2021 because we won an award for Large Market - Broadcast Personality of the Year! Because it was such a short trip, we didn't get to experience too much in Nashville - but the actual awards show was a night we will never forget!
Who came with us? Ridder brought his wife, Sarah. Scott brought his daughter, Kylie. Shan brought her parents, Jim and Kathy (her dad was technically her guest, and they were able to purchase a ticket for her mom to attend the show, as well!).
Right before the show, we got a few formal photos taken of us which we'll be getting back sometime next week! Unfortunately, our award didn't make the show on TV this year, but we'll also have a clip of us standing and waving to the audience for you next week! In the meantime, here's what we have for you in picture-form (sorry - our website won't let us mix up the order of the photos, so they're what each of us took in sections)! We got a fun pre-show reception with food, beverages and mingling. After that, we headed to the pre-telecast show, where Maddie & Tae announced us as the winners for our category. The CMA also surprised us with passes to the Lexus Lounge - where we received food and beverages all night long! You should've seen Scott's daughter's face when she saw the candy bar!
Cody Alan sat directly in front of us, and we were so close to see all of our favorite country artists mingle with athletes, actors and more. This was a true, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we are so grateful to have the memories. Thank you for listening to our show and to the CMAs for making this a possibility. We hope to be back in two years when we're "allowed" to win again!
