Some people (including Scott) cringe when they think about wearing socks to bed. Well, according to sciencefocus.com, it's actually a GOOD IDEA!
I guess there was a study done at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience found that people who wore socks to bed fell asleep faster. It has something to do with your body temperature. The article describes it as your feet basically tricking your body that it's too hot, so it makes your core temperature drop. That signals your brain to fall asleep.
Who would've thought?! However, if you decide to try the whole "wearing socks to bed" thing...make sure to wear a different pair of socks to bed than you wore during the day to prevent waking up with smelly feet!
