I know I know .... you're SHOCKED!
According to SafeHome.org, Wisconsin is the 6th drunkest state. They conducted their stuff from data collected by the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and more.
Washington DC took the top spot, followed by Vermont (I do love me a good brewery tour in Burlington!), South Dakota (because what else is there to really do there?), New Hampshire, North Dakota (again - see South Dakota), and then our precious Dairy Land.
The lightest drinking state though? Arkansas, followed by Georgia, Mississippi, and Alabama.
I found this to be interesting too .... each year, we drink about three gallons of alcohol here in Wisonsin.
