Adam and I are doing pretty well when it comes to planning the wedding. We have a florist, DJ, photographer, venue/caterer and appointments for my dress, as well as the bridesmaids. One thing that I wanted to get squared away that we still have yet to do is a cake. Now, we're not doing a big one. Basically one tier for pictures with a white frosting because we already have cupcakes and desserts squared away. BUT - we were thinking that the maybe the head table would get a slice of this particular cake. We had a family friend that I reached out to, but she hasn't gotten back to me yet, and she's always so busy with cakes that she only takes so many each year...and I have a pretty good feeling she's booked. Now where to?
I originally wanted the bottom as cheesecake with a raspberry filling and a white cake on top, but it doesn't necessarily have to be that way. I just prefer a more "creative" flavor because I'm not a huge cake person to begin with. Below is kind of the look we're going for...just one layer, though! And circular!
