Chris Young has debuted an emotional video for his latest single, “Drowning.” The video, directed by Chris himself, was shot at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, during his first headlining show following the tragedy at the Route 91 Harvest Festival. During the performance Chris asked fans to hold up their phone lights to honor those who were lost.
The song was inspired by the loss of the Chris’ close friend, Adam Carnes, and the video opens with him holding up a picture of him. Then, throughout the clip, other folks hold up pictures of loved ones they too have lost.
