A couple weeks ago, Gabby Barrett from season 16 of "American Idol" played in our Steinhafel's Relax Lounge!
Afterwards, I grabbed a quick interview with her in our studio for my podcast "Women Crushing It Wednesday" .... and I can't believe she's only 19 years old! She carries herself so well, and girlfriend is planning the rest of her life with her fiance who she met while also competing on the ABC show.
Of course we talked about him and their wedding, but we also talked about her biggest fear (I would probably burn my house down if I had spiders like she does in Nashville!), and her new song "I Hope" that I absolutely love. As someone put it in the comments of her music video for it, "If Carrie Underwood and Miley Cyrus had a baby, it’d be Gabby Barrett" (Alyssa Teter).
