Midwest Express just announced the first flight destinations from Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport. To start the airline will be offering non-stops to Grand Rapids, Michigan, Omaha, Nebraska, and Cincinnati, Ohio.
The plan is to expand to more destinations in the coming months but this is the first step to bringing the Milwaukee favorite airline back to service.
And the cookies… Yes there were freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies on board -- and yes, they will be available to passengers when flights commence.
One traveler on board for the media event unveiling said, the cookies are very chocolaty and one could eat a few!
