Wauwatosa Neighborhood Introduces New Mural District

Ridder's neighborhood in Wauwatosa recently got a face lift, and the video showing off the progress is incredible! Apparently, the project is a partnership between Wauwatosa and Wallpapered City - and we're all for it! From Lake Michigan to Wauwatosa, a new series of art installations is known as the North Avenue Mural Arts District (NoMAD).

Various artists featured colorful works on the sides of East Tosa buildings, including Cranky Al's and Bel Air Cantina. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held last week to open the new "district" when three of the seven murals were complete. The murals have all been finished, and the neighborhood looks so different (in a good way).
