HBO Max (new streaming service from Warner Media) is putting in an order for a "Gossip Girl" reboot. The streaming service will launch in 2020, but has already suggested 10 one-hour episodes from Gossip Girl and the original team (aka - the executive producers and such according to Fox 6).
The series will focus on a new generation of NY private school students and adjust to the times with social media. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it plays out because there isn't an exact direction on how the show will carry on.
