New From Nashville: Jordan Davis, LANCO, & LOCASH!

Last week's (4/22-4/26) New From Nashville picks were packed full of artists coming to Summerfest!

Monday was a song from Filmore, a new artist that we absolutely loved having at our studio recently. We both measure how long our hair is by where it lands near our nipples. It's a long story, but I knew we would be pals after that.

ALSO! Filmore will be back here playing the US Cellular Connection Stage at Summerfest with us on June 30th! Brothers Osborne, Jimmie Allen, and Riley Green are also playing there that day.

This one's called "Slower", and it's the JAM.

Tuesday's (4/23) song was ANOTHER Summerfest 2019 artist! Jordan Davis will be playing at the Miller Lite Oasis Stage on June 29th, and his new song "Slow Dance In A Parking Lot" is so different from his uptempo songs "Take It From Me" and "Singles You Up". That's not a bad thing AT ALL though! It's a sweet one that makes me want to slow dance in a Chick Fil A parking lot (don't you dare judge me).

LANCO will ALSO be playing at Summerfest whaaaaat!!! They're playing the US Cellular Connection Stage with us as well on June 27th! They're song "Rival" was Wednesday's song, and it's got a little bit of an alternative feel to it.

Thursday's song was from LOCASH who will be playing at Country Thunder this July. It's their second song to radio from their new album "Brothers" ("Kissing A Girl" will get you right in the dang feels). I have to say ... these guys are 2 of the nicest people I have met during my country radio time so far! This is "One Big Country Song".

A couple of legends and a rising super star closed out the week yesterday. Brooks & Dunn have their new album out "Reboot" that features collaborations of their hits with some pretty big artists! One of those songs is "Brand New Man" that Luke Combs (who will also be at Country Thunder) is on!

My bonus song on this week's blog isn't a country artist, but she did have one song on country radio with Kenny Chesney so I'm running with that!

Pink dropped her new album "Hurts 2B Human" yesterday, and one of the songs features Chris Stapleton! Grab the tissues and listen below, and for the love of God please listen to the rest of the album because it's freaking fantastic.
