Is there anything that Christian Yelich can't do? Based on his performance on Saturday, he even scored a family a new puppy!
Lola and Libby Labodda created a sign just an hour before the first pitch that read: "Yelich, hit a homerun, and my dad buys me a puppy!" Well, thankfully Yelich gave them something to celebrate early in the game because no more than the first inning past, and he hit a homerun.
The Labodda family was thinking that they'll snag a golden doodle to join the family's 11 year-old Maltese (Henry - named after Hank Aaron). Of course, the Milwaukee Brewers gave their own name suggestion for the new pup: Yeli.
