Queen announced just over a week ago that Adam Lambert would be joining them at the Oscars to open the show. Adam and Queen would be performing a medley of the bands hits, including "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions."
Of course, in Queen and Adam Lambert fashion, they came out in bedazzled and sparkling outfits to wow the crowd with Lambert reaching into those high-pitched tones. In other words, if anyone had to lead Queen aside from Freddie Mercury, we're thinking Lambert was a solid choice. And, you could tell he was having fun with it!!
Bohemian Rhapsody was up for five awards at the Oscars, and ended up walking away with four of those - including Best Actor, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing and Best Film Editing.
