Easy & healthy turkey and sweet potato recipe


I found this recipe on Pinterest, but unfortunately the link didn't work once I got home with my groceries .... so I kinda just made it up as I went!

I'll probably do it in the Crock Pot next time, but this time around I just used on big skillet.

First, put some Olive Oil on that bad boy and then cook the sweet potatoes for awhile until they're getting soft (use a fork to test). Then, throw in the rest of the ingredients and BOOM, you have some great meal prepping done!


Ground Turkey & Sweet Potato Ingredients
  • 1 lb Ground turkey

  • 1/4 cup Cilantro (I opted out of this because #gross)

  • 1 tbsp Garlic

  • 1 cup Onion

  • 1 Yellow bell pepper

  • 1 tsp Chili powder

  • 1/4 tsp Pepper

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil (I'm a big fan so I drizzle that ish every so often)

  • 1 1/2 tbsp Cumin, ground

  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella (I opted out with this one because my body hates dairy)

  • 3 Small or 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
