This week's "First Responder Friday" was nominated by Jereme Welch from Muskego. Here's what he had to say about Lauren Welch from Tess Corners Fire Department:
"Lauren has been a great role model to the incoming members of the department. She's willing to work with you and teach you the best ways of the job, to make it easier to do the job at hand. Lauren has been on Tess Corners for 8 years as a firefighter/Paramedic. She has also been a member of the Western Lakes Fire Department out of Dousman as paramedic for 2 years.She recently just became an EMS instructor at WCTC teaching new EMTs the world of EMS. She also has completed her coursework to become a critical care paramedic. As a new EMT, myself, she has been a great role model and teaching the proper technique when it comes to EMS calls!"
