This week's "First Responder Friday" was nominated by Amanda Pluta from Muskego. Here's what she had to say about Nathan Mayer from Tess Corner's Vol. Fire Department:
"Nathan has served the City of Muskego on Tess Corner's Vol. Fire Department for 9 years. He is an active Volunteer Firefighter who has fearlessly dedicated his free time answering the call of duty when the fire tones drop. Not only is this brave soul a Firefighter, but also a dedicated EMT. Nathan has dedicated his life to serving others on their worst days, providing primary 911 emergency medical care to all who call; with a passion and dedication like I've never seen. I've had the honor to work along side him as an EMT myself & have seen Nathan goes above and beyond his call for duty every day. I am honored to have him by my side not only in life, but as a trusted partner on the rig. He puts other's lives before his own everyday, and for that he will always be A True Hero."
