This past weekend, I got to visit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It was such a humbling experience, and it was amazing to see EVERYTHING they do there. It's like it's own little town.
I got to meet a ton of awesome iHeartRadio people, and one of them that really stood out to me was Dana Tyson from Sunny 99.1's Morning Show in Houston, TX. She has been on that station waking up at 3am for almost 30 years now, but that's not even the most impressive thing about Dana. Last year, she came up with this brilliant and selfless idea to shave her own head during their Radiothon.
As you can see, not only does Dana love helping kids, but she also loves animals! How cute is this goat though?!?
This week on Women Crushing It Wednesday, Dana & I talked about her radio career (from Modesto to Houstin ... BIG JUMP!), what radio lady she loves to follow, and our mutual love for Claire Underwood on "House of Cards".
