I'm such a fan of Shawn Mendes and the immense amount of talent he has. He plays guitar, he writes his own music (and for other artists), and he has an amazing & unique voice. Not to knock our pop singing friends, but I feel like those are becoming such rare qualities to find in an artist these days.
Shawn and Zac Brown Band together for CMT Crossroads is one of my favorite pairings to date.
Last night was their episode, and this is their performance of Shawn Mendes' hit "In My Blood". The lyrics are so powerful, and these guys together sound amazing. I would have loved to see them sing a little more together instead of almost alternating lines in the chorus, but I still thought it was extremely well done!
