Shannen's Weekend in Pictures 9/28

You want to know something funny? I have always been so worried that I bore you with WAY too many photos on these blogs. This "feature" was originally set up as "Shan's Weekend in Five Pictures." Well, I'm a photographer, and I take way too many photos in my life regardless because I'm a millennial who posts every second on social media.

Here's what I have to tell you about this weekend: I don't have a single picture to show for it. It finally happened. I had such a fun weekend, though - so how is this even a thing?

Well, I'm still going to tell you about my weekend in the slight case that you're interested, and maybe you'll realize the same thing that I did: sometimes life's too much fun to really care about documenting it, and sometimes all you need are the memories.

On Friday night, I went out shopping with a friend for a dress for an upcoming event. We spent about 45 minutes shopping. She bought what she was looking for in the first store that she wanted to go in, and I bought a dress in the first store that I wanted to go in. WHEN DOES THIS HAPPEN IN GIRL WORLD? Even better? I got my dress for $22 when it was originally $69!! Again - when does this happen?!

So, our night was over early, and we decided to hit up dinner for a little bit. Two/three hours later - it was time to go home. Girls get to chatting, and time flies!

Saturday was a pretty big day - I got up and went for a run and had to make my way out to MetroPCS for a few hours before I got to the Milwaukee Admirals pre-season game. It was my first game for the season (yes, I'm game hosting again), and I had a blast! I hope to see you out there for the home opener on October 13th! Billy and I will both be hosting that night, and if you can't make it, you'll be able to hear the game on our sister station - The Big 920!

After that, I went out for my boyfriend's roommate because he was celebrating his birthday! One of the bars we went to had a claw machine with rubber duckies in it that the guys were obsessed with. When I woke up the next day - do you want to know how many of those toys were in my bag? Five. FIVE RUBBER DUCKIES. I don't know how they even got them to fit in there!

On Sunday, Adam's parents came up to go to the Brewers game with us and one of his friends. You probably already know: we won. It was great to see the park full and spirits high.

I hope you had a great weekend, too! If you have pictures to show for it, send them my way! I'd love to see!

- Shan
