This week's "First Responder Friday" was nominated by Rachel Tidyman from Hartford. Here's what she had to say about Steve Tidyman:
"Steve has been with the Stone Bank FD now for over 15 years. He is Captain on Stone Bank FD. He also is part time on Lake Country FD and also volunteer on Ashippun FD. He has received a Medal of Valor in 2012. Steve is one of the most dedicated members of the Fire Department and shows his dedication through everything he does. He is proud to call the FD his "home away from home". He truly has a passion and dedication for his job unlike anyone I have ever met. If anyone is ever in a time of need both while in uniform and not, Steve will be there. I hope you choose Steve as a nominee because he deserves to be recognized."
