Football is a tough contact sport. It requires physicality, speed, smarts and vision. Arizona high school freshman Adonis Watt is without one of those... He's legally blind.
The teen lost his sight when he was five due to a rare form of glaucoma, but it didn’t take away his desire to play football. Watt’s mom, Veronica, says she wanted her son to play a safer sport, but she supports his love of the game.
More impressive is that he recently scored two touchdowns for his team. How? “You just got to trust your abilities,” Adonis says. “Trust your linemen and trust that the play will work.”
