I am SO excited for this to happen. The artist that originally got me involved with music is John Mayer. He really opened my eyes when it comes to songwriting and just music ability in general. When I found out that Lindsay Ell would be doing a cover project of his entire Continuum album...needless to say I freaked.
Lindsay was instructed by her producer, Kristian Bush (one part of Sugarland), to make the album as inspiration for her debut album, The Project, so she could develop her sound. And now, we all get to enjoy it. The album comes out on May 25th!
