Fans of Tim Allen's "Last Man Standing" series on ABC Network are still distraught over ABC's decision to cancel the show. According to the Network's President, Channing Dungey, ABC decided to cancel the show due to "business and scheduling reasons," which leads us to believe it wasn't anything political. She continued to explain that they made the decision to eliminate comedies on Friday nights. With an average of 8.1 million weekly viewers, the president said that it was a difficult decision for her, as well.
Tim Allen finally gave some sort of response, so we can gauge how he's feeling:
Stunned and blindsided by the network I called home for the last six years. #lastmanstanding— Tim Allen (@ofctimallen) May 16, 2017
Fans are extremely upset. Within one week, a petition to boycott ABC Network until they renew the show has formed with close to 200,000 signatures...and quickly rising!!! You can click here for more info on that.
