Listener Recipe: Chinese Salad

This is one AWESOME recipe that Shannen O can vouch for because her mom makes something similar! Melissa from Pewaukee let us in on the "Chinese Salad" her mother in law makes:

Chinese Salad

What you need:
1 large stalk bok choy
5 green onions
1 can sliced water chesnuts
2 pkg. Ramen noodles, crushed
1 small pkg. sliced almonds
1/4 c. sesame seed
1/2 c. butter

1 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar/Rice wine
2 Tbsp. soy sauce

Cut up and mix bok choy, onions and water chestnuts together. Brown noodles, almonds and sesame seed in a frypan with butter. Dressing: mix all ingredients together. Mix the dressing into the salad, and then, refrigerate until served.
