We mentioned Grandma Mary Small's story a few months ago on FM106.1, and her dream finally became a reality.
Let's back up. Mary Small is a devoted country music fan who's been listening all of her life. Her favorite musicians include George Jones and Jimmy Dickens. Mary's granddaughter wanted to surprise her with tickets to see Tim and Faith; however, the tickets were out of her price range. So, she turned to social media.
Well, Tim's team got word, and they set them both up with not only tickets, but meet and greet passes.
It was the day before her 95th birthday, and Grandma Mary had the time of her life. She did ask her granddaughter if she thought Faith would be mad if she gave Tim a hug. Turns out, not so much.
