Looks like the landscape of late-night TV could be making another change soon. Jimmy Kimmel is considering an end to his hit ABC late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! Jimmy's contract is up fall of 2019, and he's unsure he wants to resume hosting.
“It’s possible that will be it,” Kimmel told People magazine about the possibility walking away. “My wife’s pregnant. At a certain point, I’d like to have a little more free time. I have very little free time as it is.”
He's the man that's made "Mean Tweets" and "Unnecessary Censorship" famous.
“I think this job is a grind, and best-cast scenario, a marathon,” said Kimmel. “I want to go out on my own terms. If I ever feel like we’re repeating ourselves, I think it’s a good indication that it’s time.”
Kimmel said in the interview that he will “miss it” when the time comes for him to say goodbye, his next role will not be in late-night TV.
