On May 10, 2014 the Swon Brothers made their Milwaukee debut at the Rave, with the New Country Concert series and man was it a show! The Mathew Hall Band was the first opener and did a great job warming up the crowd. They played very well as a group. They covered a couple great songs including "Save a Horse". They are definitely worth checking out more! I missed the second opener when I went to meet up with the Swon Brothers in their greenroom which was a great experience. Colten and Zach were some real cool guys. Just some down to earth young brothers doing what they love. They practically grew up on the family tour bus and had music in there veins. They traveled, sold their CDs and played shows around their home state of Oklahoma until they got their big exposure on team Blake on The Voice last year which drastically expanded their fan base and opened many doors. These guys put on a great performance, playing some great songs, with some great energy. They played some of the songs they covered on the voice such as "Drift Away" and  "Okie from Muskogee" {which is where they’re from!}, and also brought a lady up on stage to sing "Fishin in the Dark" with them and then proceeded to give her the guitar they had her play. They also covered some songs by there idols "The Eagles" along with a couple of their songs off their upcoming album which they didn't have a release date for yet and finishing off with there current hit on the radio "Later On". It was an overall great performance and hope to see them back with some new material soon!
