For the second night in a row Summerfest welcomed another huge country act to headline the Marcus Amphitheater. None other than Luke Bryan and Miss Danielle Bradbery perform to a sold out crowd. People were lined up waiting for quite some time for the gates to open. During this time we met a lot of interesting people from surgeons to truck drivers (Luke's as well!) and a lot of other middle class people as well. Everyone was there to see a great performance and let loose!

We got to meet Danielle first and she was a little sweetheart. Very nice and took the time to talk with each person and sign autographs. She liked the 3D picture we took together. It was clear she was grateful to be where she is and loved every minute of it. Her performance was exhilarating with great vocals and energy from what I saw though I did miss some when we went down to meet Luke. But it was certain she is on her way up and there's no stopping her now. Milwaukee was pleased to have her!

It was a pleasure meeting Luke Bryan. A down to earth guy doing what he loves. He signed autographs and took pictures at the meet and greet. He seemed generally happy and was ready to throw down a show for us. He threw on the best show ever. He started out with some fire on the stage which let us know we were in for a show. His big surprise of the night was a special guest appearance from Florida Georgia Line for their song "This is how we roll" and a bonus song " country girl {shake it for me}" later on. We saw this coming as when we were talking with the semi drivers they came up the back way. The crowd really enjoyed this part. He played some songs with passion, some with crazy energy, and some with his rear end. While doing a song on the piano he used his butt and even his "junk" to produce sound from the piano which was funny. For some reason he found it necessary to change from his red shirt to blue shirt 1/4 way into the show but whatever works right. His voice was awesome and the ladies were loving it as he worked his body all around the stage. He also made some funny comments about our great Milwaukee lifestyles. He played all his big hits and everyone sang along and danced to every one. It was a memorable moment for all who attended and we hope to see him next year back at Summerfest! Or who knows where......
