Thanks to FM106.1 I was privileged enough to attend Country Thunder 2014 in Twin Lakes, WI on July 24th-27th for a great music festival. It was a weekend to remember! They were sold out of all day passes and only had minimal weekend passes left when it started.  There was a great line up including headliners Gary Allen, Miranda Lambert, Brantley Gilbert and Jason Aldean along with more AWESOME artists such as the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Craig Morgan and Joe Diffie to name a few. These and more were the reason for the 30 to 40,000 people in attendance! {See website for full line up}

Everyone who played there this weekend brought all their hottest material and wowed the crowds with there talents. Everyone brought a high energy performance with cool visual effects to top off each performance from lights to fire. Thomas Rhett pulled a guy on stage to sing a little "Friends in Low Places" with him which had to have made this guy’s day! I got to meet all the artists that I could make it there for and could see that most were excited to be a part of Country Thunder. Along with the artists I ran into more people from other shows I've seen since the start of my correspondent prize. I got to give a ladies' boyfriend my pass to see Charlie Worsham since I had already meet him before and I also got to meet a cool fan named Mitch whom I had seen at previous shows and was able to help out with a meet and greet pass for Brantley Gilbert. I also met people from almost all the states minus a few and from all walks of life which I found amazing! People really love this special festival and have been coming back for years! There was very minimal instances where people got out of control. I know we ALL had a great time and can't wait for next year!
