Maybe all the talk about healthy eating habits is paying off. New data published Tuesday shows a 43 percent drop in obesity rates among children two-to-five-years-old during the last 10 years.
According to the new federal data, just over eight percent of the children two-to-five were obese in 2011-2012, that's down from nearly 14 percent back in 2003-2004.
While that's certainly good news, you can't say the same for the rest of the population, whose obesity rates remained unchanged. And there's bad news for women older than 60 -- their obesity rates were up about 21 percent during that same period.
You might say Billy grew up in radio. His Dad, "Ol Uncle Gar" introduced him to the business at a very young age. For the past 25 years, he's played on radio stations around the country! When he's not in the studio, he and his wife Melissa love finding great new restaurants to try out and enjoy spending time at home with their family, Grant (18) Jack (1) and the newest addition baby Max! Oh, and their two little shih Tzus, Lexi and Dallas. Life is definitely good.
