Miranda Lambert and Tim McGraw will be front-runners at the 49th annual Academy of Country Music Awards with seven nominations apiece.

Miranda -- the reigning ACM Female Vocalist of the Year,  gets her third nomination for Entertainer of the Year and eighth consecutive nod for Female Vocalist of the Year. She also scored nominations for Single Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Video of the Year for “Mama’s Broken Heart,” and two for Vocal Event of the Year -- for “We Were Us” with Keith Urban and “Boys ‘Round Here” as part of the Pistol Annies

Tim's seven nods include Video of the Year for “Highway Don't Care” featuring Taylor Swift and Keith Urban. He's also nominated twice for Album of the YearSingle Record of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year awards as both the artist and producer. 

Keith Urban follows with six nominations, including Male Vocalist of the YearLee Brice is a contender in five categories, including his first nod in the Male Vocalist of the Year category. Kacey MusgravesBlake Shelton and Taylor Swift are also up for five trophies.

Florida Georgia Line and Lady Antebellum have four nominations each. And reigning Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan and recent Grammy winner Darius Rucker have three chances to win. 

The ACM Awards will air live from Las Vegas on April 6th on CBS.
