If you have plans for a road trip Labor Day weekend, you're might want to reconsider your departure and return dates. According to Triple A, this year's Labor Day traffic will be the worst in six years.
Gas prices are the lowest they've been since 2010, and people are starting to spend a little more money as the economy slowly recovers. That means Americans are taking to the highways for a much-needed and long-awaited vacation.
AAA estimates 34.7 million Americans will load up their cars and travel at least 50 miles from home this Labor Day weekend. That means you might want to leave Thursday and come back Sunday ... or you will be sitting in traffic all day Monday. And who wants to spend their day off doing that?! (Today)
