FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE: Make Country Music History With "Cruise"

Florida Georgia Line have made country music history!

Their breakout hit “Cruise” is logging its 22nd cumulative week at number-one onBillboards Hot Country Songs chart, breaking a mark held by Eddy Arnold's “I’ll Hold You in My Heart,” Webb Pierce's “In the Jailhouse Now” and Hank Snow's “I’m Moving On.” But some purists may want to put an asterisk next to the record, since Billboard now includes paid downloads, streaming data and radio airplay in its tabulations.

It’s a double-whammy for FGL, who also hold at number-one on Billboard’s Country Albums chart for a fourth consecutive week with their debut, Here’s to the Good Times. According to the latest SoundScan data, the 11-track collection sold another 31,440 copies to keep the top spot.

Billy Greenwood

You might say Billy grew up in radio. His Dad, "Ol Uncle Gar" introduced him to the business at a very young age. For the past 25 years, he's played on radio stations around the country! When he's not in the studio, he and his wife Melissa love finding great new restaurants to try out and enjoy spending time at home with their family, Grant (18) Jack (1) and the newest addition baby Max! Oh, and their two little shih Tzus, Lexi and Dallas. Life is definitely good.
