There seems to be a bit of a debate as to exactly what it is. But we scoured google, Pinterest and every corner of the web to make sure we found you the right answer. The one thing for sure is a redneck margarita is similar to a margarita but with a little bit of a twist. It's made with a concentrate and tequila, but it also has beer.
There are a few places that reference a redneck margarita as: Mountain Dew mixed with tequila.

It’s three ingredients:
- 12 oz tequila
- 12oz Can of Beer (Cerveza)
- 1 can of frozen limeade concentrate
